DIVERSITY IS NOT A DISORDER - OUR PHILOSOPHY

We challenge the notion that autism & ADHD are disorders, suggesting that they are essential evolutionary traits for species survival. 

Illustrating this with a metaphor involving a wolf pack, we highlight how different behavioral traits, including the hypervigilant ones akin to anxiety, and the disruptive ones inherent to ADHD contribute to the pack's overall success. 

We argue that such neurodiverse traits were once vital in pre-Agrarian societies but have become less recognized and valued in modern, settled lifestyles. 

Activated Mentoring considers that those navigating physical, intellectual and processing differences are of great value to our communities.  Our Program provides the opportunity for them to  contribute  and be recognized for their unique strengths.  

Through this program, we not only support the personal growth of our mentees but also advocate for a more inclusive and understanding society that recognizes the potential in every individual.
